UELC is a cold-applied wrap-around cover that provides retrofit insulation for existing bare overhead lines to help prevent electrical outages caused by incidental contact by trees or wildlife. UELC is designed to protect bare cable without costly conductor replacement. It is easy and quick for installation by the hand tool, especially for the short length conductor in substations.
