36kV Screened separable connector CJB30-630
with pre-expanded stress cone and mechanical lugs suitable for 36kV 3*35-70 sq.mm EPR cable and 3*95 sq.mm XLPE cable.
Siemens India demands one kit for EPR cable 3*35-70 sq.mm and 3*95 sq.mm XLPE cable. The outer diameter of the cable insulation is from 23.5mm to 33.5mm. They need one kit solution for the whole sizes. Due to interference fit design, installing the stress cone onto the soft cable with big diameter range becomes very difficult.
In order to make this practicable we pre-expanded the stress cone so that it can be easily put on different sizes of cable and then shrink on the exact requested position. Kit the mechanical lugs with application range from 35sq.mm to 150 sq.mm. This solution is satisfactorily accepted by Siemens, and their jointer can easily use one same kit for EPR soft cable from 35sq.mm –70 sq.mm and 95 sq.mm XLPE cable.
