Bus Insulation Tubing
 | Heat shrinkable bus bar insulation tubes are used to protect the bus bar in the distribution system indoor and outdoor. Nearly thirty-year experience of successful application and high comments from users increased our confidence in our quality and application reliability of this product. One research (of 1000A) in Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute (XIHARI) shows that at the same condition, the temperature of the bus bar with tubing and tapes is 3- degrees C lower than the one without. In addition to reliable insulation in indoor and outdoor applications, its UV resistance, aging resistance and flame retardant properties have been well proved over the past decades. |
Outdoor Application Copper and Aluminium are both highly active metal and vulnerable to salt fog and industrial exhaust. Such reaction will accumulates and may pose a threat to bus bar system. Despite of decreasing the current carrying capacity, it will also make some polluted conductive channel extend to flash over eventually. The cross linked polymer has excellent corrosion resistance from acid and alkali, thus the heat shrinkable tubing, tape and covers will greatly resist the corrosion. | ||||

Indoor Application In the electrical equipment, indoor materials are required flame retardant. The material used for substation insulation protection are made from cross linked PE with flame retardant additives. The oxygen index can exceed 32, fully meeting the requirement of the electrical system. | ||||
